Council is seeking community input in the coming months to discuss allowing coach house use on properties zoned “Single Dwelling Residential (R-1)”. Currently a coach house is a permitted use on many residential properties in and around downtown Ladysmith. Should this area be expanded to allow coach house use on all residential properties zoned R-1? The community consultation will include a survey, a public meeting, and notices in the Chronicle and on social media. Information and updates will also be posted on this webpage.
