Ladysmith Receives $5.2 Million in Federal Funding for Sewage Treatment Plant upgrade.
A state-of-the art secondary sewage treatment system, the first of its kind in North America, is being built in the Town of Ladysmith, thanks to over $5.2 million from Canada’s Gas Tax Fund. The upgrades to the aging structure will benefit Ladysmith’s residents as well as its harbour.
