UPDATE Boil Water Advisory - South Ladysmith
11:15 a.m., Friday, June 25
Town crews will be putting additional chlorine into the affected water system to eliminate any possible contamination. You will likely notice a chlorine smell. However, the levels of chlorine used in these safety measures are not harmful. The increased chlorine will be in the system for approximately 24 hours.
Until further notice, please continue to boil water used in drinking, cooking and brushing teeth for two minutes.
Thank you for your patience. We will continue to post updates on our website over the next few days. When the advisory is lifted Town crews will distribute notices to all residences under the advisory.
