How To Get Involved

Attend Council Meetings

Council appreciates your interest in the community and has made it a priority to be accessible by providing opportunities for you to participate at Council meetings. Regular Council meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the meetings start at 7:00 p.m. If a scheduling change occurs, notice will be posted at City Hall in the front office and at the back door off Roberts Street. Full agenda packages are also available for viewing on this website.

Participate on a Town Commission

Council annually appoints community members to participate on various Town Commissions, including Parks, Recreation & Culture; Heritage Revitalization Advisory; Advisory Planning and Economic Development. Vacancies are advertised in May of each year. To apply, simply complete a Committee Application form and submit it to City Hall by the advertised deadline.
