Roads, Sidewalks & Street Lights

The Public Works Department maintains roadways, sidewalks and streetlights within the Town of Ladysmith. Areas of responsibility include:

  • Asphalt Surface Maintenance
  • Lights and Banners
  • Drainage Maintenance
  • Fleet Maintenance
  • Grading and Dust Control
  • Sidewalk Maintenance
  • Snow and Ice Removal
  • Street Sweeping
  • Street & Traffic Signage
  • Special Events Support

To request street closure for a special event, please submit your detailed request in writing to City Hall. (Include the date, times of the closure and street details).

You can apply to use the community sign stations, banner displays and arrange bottle drives and other tag days by contacting City Hall at (250) 245-6419.
