Have your say on interregional transit service

BC Transit, the Cowichan Valley Regional District, and the Regional District of Nanaimo want to hear from you about interregional transit service between the two regions.

The proposed interregional transit service would provide opportunities to travel between the Cowichan Valley and the Nanaimo region via transit.

BC Transit and its regional partners are seeking the public’s input from September 18, 2020, to October 16, 2020, via an online survey.

The survey will give customers in both regions a chance to provide feedback on the need for an interregional route including:

    1. The start and final destinations;
    2. Preferred trip times and;
    3. The proposed fares for the service

A dedicated website is available for more information on the service. The website offers the public a web-based map to pin the start and end of their travel, while providing an opportunity to ask questions or provide comments to staff.
