CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS – Community Banner Program - TOWN CELEBRATION BANNER

The Town of Ladysmith is calling for submissions from artists to be part of this exciting opportunity to create public art that will add to our already vibrant downtown and First Avenue, near Aggie Hall.

We are seeking emerging and professional artists from Ladysmith, Stz’uminus and area to create a street banner design that represents Ladysmith’s small town charm, community life and long, diverse cultural heritage while highlighting the 2022 celebration of the centennial of Aggie Hall.

Built in 1922, the Agricultural Hall played host to the annual agricultural fair, popular dances, concerts and numerous social and sporting events. “Aggie Hall” is a historical landmark and continues to be an important community gathering place. This year marks the Centennial and celebrations are being planned for September 2022.
