Business Licences
The Town of Ladysmith is pleased to offer inter-municipal business licences with the City of Duncan, the District of North Cowichan and the Town of Lake Cowichan. Your Ladysmith business licence is valid when you offer mobile business services within these three other communities.
The cost of an annual business license is $100. After February 28th of each year, the renewal fee is $125. If you are a new business to Ladysmith and apply between July 1st and December 31st, your cost will be prorated to $50. Dog Licences
All dogs over the age of 4 months must be licensed in the Town of Ladysmith. Annual dog licenses are available at City Hall during regular office hours, the Frank Jameson Community Centre and at Little Rascals Pet Store (416 First Avenue). You can renew your dog's licence as early as December 1st for the next year.
