Each year, Council appoints community members to sit on several Advisory Commissions. The Commissions typically meet once a month, and their role is to offer advice to Council about matters that affect all of us. Council needs your thoughts and your knowledge, so please consider applying to sit on a Commission. You can get an application form at City Hall or the Frank Jameson Community Centre, or by downloading an Application for Appointment to Advisory Body.
The mandate of the committee is to provide feedback to applicants and advice to Council on land use applications, policies, regulations and initiatives referred either directly by Council or through the Development Approval Procedures Bylaw.
