Meetings of Council

Council meetings in Ladysmith are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm, unless otherwise noted.

Ladysmith Council also meets as the Committee of the Whole (CoW) on the second Tuesday of every second month at 6:30 pm. These meetings provide an opportunity for preliminary discussion of proposed policies, services, and other matters before recommendations are made to Council.

All Council and Committee of the Whole meetings are held at the Ladysmith Seniors Centre, which is located at 630 2nd Avenue. Members of the public are welcome to attend these meetings in-person.

Have Your Say

Members of the public have several options to give input to Council:

• Write a letter or email mayor and council at towncouncil@ladysmith.ca.
• Apply to appear at a meeting as a delegation (download the Delegation to Council Application). Applications must be in by 12:00 pm on the Tuesday before the meeting requested.
• Ask a question during Question Period at the end of each Council meeting.
