Committee of the Whole

Committee of the Whole (CoW) includes all members of Ladysmith Council and provides an opportunity for early discussion of proposed policies, services, and other matters. Decisions made at CoW meetings are recommendations only and must be approved by Council at a regular Council Meeting in order to take effect.

Committee of the Whole (CoW) meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every second month at 6:30 pm at the Ladysmith Seniors Centre, located at 630 2nd Avenue. 

A full agenda package is prepared the Friday before each scheduled meeting, and minutes are posted on the Town’s website as soon as possible afterward.

Members of the public are welcome to attend CoW meetings and can view the agenda online or request a printed copy at City Hall (410 Esplande).
