Grants in Aid

Grants for social, cultural, recreational, special events services are provided by Town Council on behalf of residents of the Town of Ladysmith.  Only non-profit organizations are eligible for Civic Grants for these services.  Applications for Grants will be received for both new programs and existing services.

Programs and services are evaluated on the basis of need, appropriateness and demonstrated effectiveness.  All grants are for a one-year period (or less).  Applicants may be required to appear before the Government Services Committee to answer questions with respect to program services, finance, or other issues.  The purpose of the Town Grants is to assist citizens to organize themselves around community issues and projects.
