UPDATE: A COVID-19 Message for Parks, Recreation and Culture Patrons

Ladysmith Parks, Recreation & Culture continues to review the recent orders and recommendations issued by the Provincial Health Officer on Thursday, November 19, 2020 and assess the impacts to our programming.

As everyone works together to limit the spread of COVID-19, PRC’s ongoing priority is to ensure the safety of the community and our patrons while create opportunities for responsible forms of recreation.

Effective immediately, all scheduled Spin and High Intensity Interval Training classes are cancelled for a period of at least two weeks in keeping with the PHO’s orders.

For all other fitness programming, including dryland and aqua fitness, classes are suspended for one week while PRC staff implement the details of the order, modify program plans and adjust any required safety protocols. Pickleball has also been suspended for one week.

All of these programs will be suspended until November 28, 2020.
