Brown Drive Park Forest Trails Closed

UPDATE

The Brown Drive Park Storybook Walk and Recreational Bike Trails are closed until further notice as an independent contractor completes tree clearing on private land in the area of Malone Road.

No tree clearing is occurring in Town parkland and the closure is to ensure public safety.

Trail users accessing the Rotary Lookout Trail from the Holland Creek Trail should avoid descending to Malone Road at this time.

We will update you when the park reopens and apologize for any inconvenience.


The Town of Ladysmith is making you aware of tree clearing occurring this week on private land at the end of Malone Road and in the Holland Creek development area.


Independent contractors working on behalf of the respective landowners are completing the work.

Members of the public accessing the Rotary Lookout Trail from the Holland Creek Trail should avoid descending to Malone Road.

Activity in Holland Creek area is not expected to impact trail users.
