Ladysmith PRC responds to Step 3 of BC’s Restart Plan

As part of the gradual reopening outlined in BC’s Restart Plan, the Town of Ladysmith’s Parks, Recreation and Culture department is providing you with an update on changes at the Frank Jameson Community Centre (FJCC)

We are pleased to reopen the doors at the FJCC foyer to provide the public direct access to the washrooms, drinking fountains as well as the opportunity to make program and service related inquiries. It is no longer necessary to line up outside.  Spectators are also now welcome to watch swimming lessons.

Parks, Recreation and Culture is recommending the use of a mask when inside the FJCC, however this is not a mandatory requirement for admission to the facility.

We continue to request that all patrons pre-register for drop-in visits to the Fitness Centre and Aquatics area.  As a courtesy to other facility users, please arrive no more than 10 minutes in advance for your scheduled appointment time.

Patrons attending fitness classes scheduled in the gymnasium will continue to enter through the side doors.

Change room areas, including the use of lockers, will also now be available during your visit.  Parks, Recreation and Culture will keep you updated on any future changes.

Thank you for your cooperation and welcome back!
