Adventure awaits at Town daycamps

The Town of Ladysmith’s summer Adventure Zone Daycamps are in full swing with plenty of opportunities through to the end of August for local children to have an active and positive summer.

Each week features a new theme as campers participate in games, sports, Science Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) activities, and most of all build new friendships.

Daycamps are based out of the Frank Jameson Community Centre and Transfer Beach – which makes for twice the fun!

Parents and caregivers – we can’t guarantee an earlier bedtime for your youngster after all the fun had at our daycamps, but we’ll do our best to try!

Our exceptional staff and overall commitment to providing a fun, safe and inclusive environment, set the Town’s daycamp experience apart.

The camp leadership team facilitating a summer of fun draw on their unique backgrounds and experiences to connect with children and make sure they’re having a blast!

Each leader is certified in first aid and HighFive– a national standard for ensuring the delivery of positive experiences in recreation and leisure programming.

We’re now in Week 3 and looking forward to the remainder of the summer.

Here’s what’s coming up:

  • Week 4 – Super Heroes
  • Week 5 – Games Galore
  • Week 6 – VI Survivor
  • Week 7 – Super Sports Camp
  • Week 8 – Ladysmith Olympics
