Town hosting OCP open house with pancake breakfast courtesy of Kinsmen Club

The Town of Ladysmith is entering the final phase of public engagement for the draft Official Community Plan (OCP) and we continue to welcome your feedback in helping to shape this long-term vision for our community.

The draft OCP is available on the Town's website for viewing and you're encouraged to browse the document. You can also pick up a copy at either City Hall, Development Services or the FJCC. The draft OCP lays out proposed policy initiatives for managing growth and change in a way that helps our community meet its goals, including a section specific to implementation.

The Town is hosting a drop-in open house on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 9am - 2pm at Aggie Hall where we are once again welcoming your input on the draft OCP prior to its final adoption by Ladysmith Council.

The Ladysmith Kinsmen Club will be hosting a free pancake breakfast for attendees on that day. We greatly appreciate their support in helping bring the community together for this important public engagement event.

Additionally, a final survey is also now live for you to provide feedback.

Tell us how well you think some of the OCP's big opportunities will help realize the vision and goals for Ladysmith. The survey asks you to weigh your opinion on 13 potential opportunities presented in the OCP, as well as provides an opportunity for written feedback.

Lastly, the public can submit their input by email to ocp@ladysmith.ca.
