Wednesday Morning Snow Update

Good morning, Ladysmith!
Town crews were out as of 2:00 am Wednesday to clear parking lots and sidewalks across Ladysmith. If you notice an issue, please call Infrastructure Services by dialling 250-245-6445.
Property owners and residents are reminded that you are required to clear snow and ice from the sidewalk adjoining your premises. With your help, pedestrians can safely get around the community. Thank you for doing your part!
All garbage and organics collection along the Yellow Route is cancelled today and will be rescheduled.
The FJCC is currently open, and all other offices are anticipated to open during regular office hours today. We will inform you of any updates regarding hours of operation on social media and our website.
Lastly, the Nanaimo-Ladysmith Public Schools has cancelled all classes for Wednesday. Motorists, please watch for children and youth near crosswalks and snowbanks.
