Join our Accessibility Advisory Committee

Ladysmith, BC – The Town of Ladysmith is seeking to fill two vacancies on its Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC).

The committee plays an important role in helping the Town identify, remove, and prevent barriers to accessibility in Ladysmith. 

As a member of the Accessibility Advisory Committee, you will:

  • Assist in developing strategies that enhance accessibility.
  • Identify best practices from other communities and make recommendations based on those findings.
  • Discuss accessibility-related matters referred to the committee by Council, the CAO, or Senior Management.

Successful applicants will join the committee for a two-year term, ending in November 2027.

The deadline to apply is October 27, 2025 at 4:00 pm.
