Ladysmith, BC — Due to unforeseen circumstances, the paid-on-call firefighter open house has been moved from Aggie Hall to the Ladysmith Fire Hall, located on 340 6th Avenue.
The open house will take place from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on November 17, as originally scheduled.
“We appreciate the community’s understanding regarding this last-minute venue change,” says Ladysmith Fire/Rescue Chief Chris Geiger. “We look forward to individuals interested in serving their community and learning more about the paid-on-call firefighter role.”
Attendees of the open house will have the opportunity to meet Ladysmith Fire/Rescue staff, ask questions, learn about training expectations and what it means to serve the community. The Town’s Director of Human Resources will also be on-site to handle any questions regarding the recruitment process for the Town of Ladysmith.
Those interested in learning more about the open house or the application process are encouraged to visit the Town of Ladysmith website or attend the event in person.
