The Town of Ladysmith is deeply saddened by the horrific events that occurred in Tumbler Ridge on February 10, 2026.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the victims, their families, and all those whose lives have been forever changed by this senseless tragedy. Our thoughts are with the entire Tumbler Ridge community as well as with the first responders and medical teams who have worked tirelessly in the face of such devastating circumstances.

The flags at City Hall and all Town-owned properties have been lowered to half-mast until further notice to honour the victims of Tumbler Ridge.
