Public Notice: Spring Clean-Up collection

Ladysmith, BC — GFL Environmental has informed the Town of Ladysmith that there will be no alleyway collection of large items during Spring Clean-Up.

This applies to all routes. The only exception is for properties with regular scheduled alley collection. Residents who have placed items in an alley but do not receive regular alleyway collection are asked to move them to the front street for pickup.

Spring Clean-Up runs from April 20 to 24. GFL Environmental will collect extra oversized items on your regular collection day during this time.

Please place items at the curb by the evening before your collection day.

Accepted items include:
Furniture (wood or fabric-covered)
Washers, dryers, and stoves
Carpets, rugs, and mattresses (must be sealed in plastic)
Barbecues
Toys and bicycles

Items not listed above will not be collected.

Garbage and other unaccepted items can be taken to the Peerless Road Recycling Centre & Garbage Drop-Off Depot.
