Forrest Field to temporarily close for artificial turf replacement

Ladysmith, BC — The Town of Ladysmith is advising residents that Forrest Field will be temporarily closed beginning Wednesday, July 29, as crews replace the artificial turf playing surface.

Replacement of the artificial turf is expected to take four weeks, during which time, Forrest Field will be closed to all user groups and the general public.

The nearby practice warm-up pitch will remain open to all users.

The Town apologizes for the temporary inconvenience and appreciates the public's patience and understanding while these important upgrades are completed.
