Nomination Package Availability and Submission Period

Nomination packages are now available online or at City Hall (410 Esplanade).

Please be advised that nomination packages may only be submitted during the following period:

  • 9:00 am on September 1 until 4:00 pm on September 11

Candidates must complete the prescribed nomination package:

Submission

To help ensure your nomination package is complete, we strongly recommend arranging an appointment with the Chief or Deputy Chief Election Officer before submitting your documents.

Completed nomination packages may be submitted to the Chief or Deputy Chief Election Officer by one of the following methods:

  1. In person: At City Hall (410 Esplanade)
  2. By mail: PO Box 220, Ladysmith, BC V9G 1A2
  3. By fax: 250-245-6411
  4. By email: vote@ladysmith.ca

Nomination packages submitted by mail, fax, or email MUST be witnessed by a Commissioner for Taking Oaths and Affidavits for British Columbia such as a lawyer or notary public. Candidates are responsible for arranging this service.
