Town lowers flags to half-mast in solidarity with Nova Scotia

Town of Ladysmith flags will fly at half-mast this week in tribute to and solidarity with the people of Nova Scotia and especially for those who lost their lives in the tragic shooting over the weekend.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with all Nova Scotians in this time of sorrow,” said Mayor Aaron Stone.  “We stand with them and we grieve with them.”

Flags at Town facilities, Transfer Beach and the Cenotaph will stay at half-mast until after the virtual vigil for the victims on Friday, April 24.
