Holland Creek Trail restricted access Oct. 6-8

UPDATE - October 6, 2021

The Holland Creek Trail will be closed October 6-8 (Wednesday to Friday) past Crystal Falls on the eastern side of the Holland Creek Trail (aka the difficult side), as well as from Colonia Drive north towards the Upper Bridge. 

Closure notices are being posted at all trailheads. We thank you for your patience.

2021.10.05 HCT Closure

The contractor for the Holland Creek bridge crossing at Colonia Drive is resuming construction later this week.

Please be advised that Oct 6-8 (Wednesday to Friday) there will be restricted access to the trail at Colonia Drive as well as on the south side above Crystal Falls.  You will continue to be able to enter the trail at Mackie Road but the path right towards the Upper Bridge and the Heart Lake Connector will likely be closed.

During ongoing construction of the crossing, trail users should expect intermittent closures and be prepared to turn back.
