Ladysmith received a significant amount of snowfall overnight; we strongly advise residents to avoid travel at this time based on the current road conditions.

 

Our crews/ top priority this morning is continuing to clear the emergency routes. Find more information when it starts to snow - or in this case, a lot - by visiting the Snow and Ice Control page our website. 

 

If there is an emergency, Town staff will work directly with first responders to reach their destination.

 

The Frank Jameson Community Centre is closed and all programs cancelled for this morning. Watch the Town of Ladysmith and Ladysmith Parks, Recreation & Culture social media pages for facility updates.

 

All garbage and organics collection for the Orange Route is cancelled for Tuesday.
